Skiing is still alive and well

Taken May 5 2011

In Colorado we have it good. We have always loved skiing in May and beyond. Some years are better then others of course. Back in 95'-96' we had powder days in May. We have to ask why people LOVE to ski on 32" base in December but chose not ski in May. We know there is a lot of competition for ones time. Hitting a white ball on a manicured hybrid of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia or pedaling around a reservoir. We get it. Time is short and one cant play golf in February or ride a bike in the comfort of longer days. This is a special year and we tempt you with the trifecta. Get up and ride your bike for an hour, then hit A-basin for some runs, drop back to 5280' for a quick nine before you BBQ the night away. That is why we live here!
