Entropy Resins

We ordered our epoxy choice today. We feel it is the best overall choice for a wet lay-up lamination, cure time and settling back into the environment. From an environmental perspective, what makes Entropy bio-epoxy better than other epoxy systems? At the end of the day this comes down to carbon footprint. By replacing petrochemicals with bio-mass we reduce the amount of carbon that is reintroduced into our environment from petrochemical processing. The processes used to refine and manufacture our bio-derived materials require less energy, water, and output less greenhouse gases than conventional petrochemical processing. Furthermore by sourcing our bio-mass from the waste stream or as a co-product from other industrial processes, we are able to further reduce the carbon footprint impact due to processing. We like this kind of thinking. The crew at Entropy Resins also realize that if it doesn’t work, who cares what it is made from. So we at Grace will put it to the test.

Quick FYI, the SS1300 system is now the SS1310 system, same product just a different name
